Led the team in assists (898), assists per set (7.74), service aces (32), service aces per set (0.28) … finished second on the team in digs (262) … tied for third in total blocks (47) … finished ninth in the Southland Conference in service aces per set … posted a season-high 53 assists at Nicholls State … tallied a career-high eight kills against Jackson State, Alabama A&M, Nicholls State and at Southern … hit .800 (8-0-10) in a three-set win at Southern … recorded 12 matches with double-digit digs  established a career-high with 20 digs against Louisiana Tech … set a career-high with eight blocks in season-finale at Central Arkansas … served up career-best four aces against Jackson State.

Led team and finished 11th overall in the Southland Conference in assists per set (7.74) … appeared in 27 matches, playing in 61 sets … earned 11 starts at setter … posted a season-high 58 assists against Southern – the second-most by a Southland Conference performer in a four-set match and the fifth-best total overall during the season … had 18 matches with 10 or more assists, including four with 30-plus … recorded two double-doubles during the season … totaled 46 assists and 11 digs in four-set win over Arkansas Pine-Bluff … added 29 assists, 10 digs and season-high three blocks in three-set victory over Centenary … had 32 assists against South Alabama and 31 at Northwestern State … served season-best three aces against Southern.

PREP
A three-time All-Shelby County performer at Pelham High School … helped PHS to two regional titles, three area championships and two top three state finishes … dished out 4,178 assists in her four-year career with 374 kills, 123 blocks, 264 aces and 757 digs … recorded 1,025 assists, 133 kills, 83 aces and 194 digs as a senior … a three-time member on the Birmingham News All-Metro team … a three-time Class 6A All-State selection … earned the Best Setter award at the University of Purdue Camp in 2008 … named to the Tampa Prep All-Tournament team as a junior … played club volleyball for the Birmingham Volleyball Club … lettered four years in basketball at PHS … a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Born in Birmingham, Ala.  … the daughter of Thomas and Beth Young … has one sister, Alison … sister played volleyball at Bryan (Tenn.) College and is currently an assistant coach ... majoring in Kinesiology.
