Biography

2008 (Sophomore):  Broke her career-best mark with a .318 hitting percentage (9-2-22) in a 3-0 Lady Lion win over UL-Lafayette on Sept. 23 ... Broke that mark again with a .368 mark (10-3-19) at Nicholls State on Oct. 22 ... Posted ten or more kills four different times, including 11 kills in at UCA on Oct. 30 and ten kills in a 3-2 win over Sam Houston State on Oct. 14 on a career-high 36 attempts ... Led the team with a career-best 17 digs in a five-set win over Jackson State on Sept. 19 ... Recorded double-digit digs in seven different matches ... Notched a pair of double-doubles on the year, first against Nicholls State Sept. 26 (10 K, 16 D) and again on Oct. 30 at UCA (11 K, 11 D).

2007 (Freshman):  Saw action in 26 of 28 team matches, making 13 starts in her first collegiate season ... Was one of only six Lady Lions to post triple-digits in kills (103) in 65 games (1.58 k/g) ... recorded 84 digs and 19 total blocks on defense ... Set single-match career highs in kills (11) and attempts (33) against Alabama A&M on Sept. 15 ... Recorded her first career match with double-digit digs with 10 on Oct. 23 against Nicholls State.

High School:  The 2006 H.I.S.D District 20-5A Player of the Year ... Helped Bellaire to a 30-8 record and the district title with a 16-0 mark ... Named MVP of the 206 HISD Tournament ... Selected first-team All-District in 2004 and 2005 ... Named honorable mention All-District as a freshman ... Played seven years with Club Texas Volleyball ... Member of the National Honor Society and served as Historian for the Red Cross.
