A native of Portland, Ore., joined Southeastern during the spring 2023 semester from Coastal Carolina University where he served as the assistant beach coach and director of volleyball operations since 2021. In 2022, he also served as a head coach at a high school while still working at Coastal.

His coaching career started in the summer of 2019 as a volunteer assistant at both Cal State-Northridge and with the USA Beach Volleyball National Team while also serving as an assistant coach with LA Beach.

In the fall of 2020, he moved to Eugene, Ore. where he worked as an assistant coach at the University of Oregon for the beach volleyball team. From there, he went to Coastal Carolina.

Wilson graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2019 with a degree in sport and entertainment management.
