Alison Chevalier

Alison Chevalier

A former volleyball player for Lady Lion head coach Jim Smoot from 2007-2011 at Westmont College, Alison Chevalier joined the Southeastern Louisiana volleyball program as an assistant coach in 2017.
 
Chevalier came to Southeastern after spending two seasons at Whittier College as an assistant volleyball coach and throws coach for the track and field program.
 
Prior to Whittier, Chevalier served as the head volleyball coach a St. Lucy’s Priory High School in her hometown of Glendora, California, from 2011-2014. She helped lead St. Lucy’s to a CIF state title during her first season.
 
A successful club coach, Chevalier served as head coach with the Pacific Juniors Volleyball Club. Working with teams ranging in age from 14-18 years old, she helped lead teams to the SCVA gold division in 2011 and 2015.
 
She began her coaching career in 2011 at Pasadena City College, helping lead the Lancers to a conference championship in 2012.
 
Chevalier was a multi-sport athlete at Westmont, serving as the team captain of both the women’s volleyball team as well as the track and field team during both her junior and senior seasons. She is currently the school record holder in both the hammer throw and discus.
