Sophomore Season (2024):
Appeared in eight sets over six matches... Scored 8.5 points during the year off two kills & five block assists... Had a kill each against Florida A&M at the Ragin' Cajuns Classic (Sept. 20) & New Orleans (Oct. 8)... Was part of two blocks against Southern at the Battle for the Boot (Sept. 13)... Picked up lone assist of the season against Jacksonville State at the Ragin' Cajuns Classic (Sept. 20)... Had a dig against both Air Force at the Borderland Invitational (Sept. 7) & Florida A&M at the Ragin' Cajuns Classic (Sept. 20)... Scored on a block assist each against Air Force at the Borderland Invitational (Sept. 7), Jacksonville State at the Ragin' Cajuns Classic (Sept. 20), and New Orleans (Oct. 8).

Freshman Season (2023):
Appeared in five matches & nine sets on the year... Averaged 1.11 points per set... Tallied seven kills on a .158 attack percentage... Scored four of her kills against Louisiana Tech (Sept. 16)... Also had a season-high three digs against the Bulldogs... Was at least part of five blocks, one solo... Had two of her blocks against Southern (Sept. 16), both assisted... Named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll.

Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Clear Springs High in League City... Played volleyball & ran track for the Chargers... Was twice the district's named volleyball Offensive Player of the Year...Helped Clear Springs to three-straight trips to the state championship quarterfinals... Was also a three-time member of the Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association team... Named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American watch list... Named All-VYPE & to the All-Greater Houston team by the Houston Chronicle... Had 442 career kills & 87 career blocks... Ran 300-meter hurdles, 4x200 meter relay, & 4x100 meter relay.

Born January 25, 2005 in Houston... Daughter of Frederick & Courtney Young... has an older brother, Deven, & a younger sister, Caylee... Enjoys watching movies, being with family & friends, & going shopping... Biggest sports thrill was placing third at USAV nationals in 2021 & winning three gold balls at the National Qualifiers in 2022 & 2023... Most exciting athletic event she's witnessed was the NCAA National Championships... Majors in business marketing at Southeastern.
