Lily Gayle, a first generation graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University, majored in Sports Broadcast and minored in Administrative Supervision. While this is her first full-time position with Southeastern Athletics, she has been around Southeastern Athletics since she was a freshman. In her undergrad, she was a Southeastern Channel sports reporter. Lily reported on every sport, from track and field to the New Orleans Saints and Sunday Night Football. Not only does she cover sports, she also competes in the Miss America Organization. She started competing when she won Miss Southeastern Louisiana University 2021 and was named a semi-finalist in 2021 and 2022 at the state competition. She spent her childhood living abroad in Peru, South America and moved back to the US in 2012.Â
Lily was also a Southeastern Athletics graduate assistant in the Center for Academic Excellence and in athletic marketing intern. She is also pursuing her masters in Strategic Communication while being Assistant Sports Information Director.
