2016 Outdoor: Eclipsed his career high in the hammer by more than six feet with a fourth-place throw of 178-11 at the Southland Championships… Finished eighth in the hammer (171-9) at the Lion Invitational… Threw 172-3 to take third in the hammer at the McNeese Spring Time Classic.

2016 Indoor: Competed in the weight throw in four meets… Placed seventh (51-10.5) at the Southland Conference Championships… Was 11^th (48-06.25) at the KMS Invitational… Came in seventh (50-06.75) at the LSU Bayou Bengal… Opened the season by taking 14^th (47-05.75) at the LSU Purple Tiger.
 
2015 Outdoor: Finished eighth in the hammer throw (170-7) at the Jaguar Opener.
 
2015 Indoor: Was fifth in the weight throw (51-3) and 11^th in the shot put (37-8.75) at the McNeese State Indoor Invite … Set a personal-best throw of 52-11 in placing seventh in the weight throw at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational … Took ninth (50-11.5) at the UAB Vulcan Invite and 10^th (48-2.5) at the LSU Invitational in the weight throw … Finished 10^th in the weight throw (48-11.5) and 18^th in the shot put (39-10.5) at the Southland Championships. 
Junior College: Was a member of the track and field team at Modesto Junior College, along with former Southeastern teammate Brett Olsen.

High School: Winner of "Hardest Working" and "Most Improved" awards at Post Falls...

Personal: Son of Kevin Funk and Meredith Dunlow...Has four siblings, Kelsie, Cody, Hudson, and Alexis...Enjoys growing excellent mustaches...Majoring in kinesiology.
