2023 [JUNIOR]: Appeared in 21 games, all in relief … compiled a 2-1 W-L record and one save to go along with a 3.12 ERA in 26.0 innings pitched … surrendered 34 hits and 14 walks, striking out 26 batters … did not allow a run in his first six outings … turned in 13 scoreless outings overall … earned wins against McNeese (April 15) and South Alabama (May 16) … picked up the save at No. 11-ranked Auburn (March 11) … charged with the loss against McNeese (April 16) … member of the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO SLU: Played two seasons at LSU Eunice … compiled a 4-2 record with a 2.44 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 33.1 innings pitched … appeared in 24 games, all in relief … earned save at Tyler JC (April 23) … member of the Bengals 2021 NJCAA Division II National Championship squad … compiled a 6-1 record to go along with a 4.11 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 26.2 innings pitched … appeared in 11 games, starting seven … scattered two hits in a 5-inning shutout victory at Baton Rouge CC (April 7).

HIGH SCHOOL: Top 1000 player nationally and the No. 32-ranked left-handed pitcher in Texas by Perfect Game … played baseball for coach Bruce Cox at Kingwood HS in Kingwood, Texas … three-time All-District performer … twice earned All-Greater Houston Area honors … compiled a 17-7 career record.

PERSONAL: Born in Houston, Texas … son of Alison and David Rodriguez … has two younger siblings, Wyatt and Quinn … enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends … plans to major in sport management at Southeastern.
