Prior to Southeastern: Appeared in 32 games with eight starts as a freshman for Army (2025-26) … Averaged 8.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game … Secured 15 games in double figures … Finished as the fourth leading scorer for the Black Knights … Posted eight games with three or more 3-pointers and two games with five or more 3-pointers … Recorded 17 points in 20 minutes against SUNY Maritime … Claimed a career high 20 points in 18 minutes versus Duke … Noted a 12 point and career-high 10 rebounds to close out freshman campaign … Shot at a 34.7 percent clip from the three-point line and 82.2 percent from the free throw line.
 

High School: Competed in high school basketball at Riverdale Baptist School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland... Named Conference Player of the Year, Conference First Team and All-Met honorable mention... Off the court, was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, earned the Principal’s Award and ranked in the top five in his class... Also a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council... Played AAU basketball for WER1 UAA... His grandfather, Edd Hargett, was a quarterback at Texas A&M and later played in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints and Houston Oilers... His brother, Brant Furman, and uncle, Jason Furman, are Marine officers... His father, James Furman Jr., served as a Navy officer, and his grandfather, James Furman Sr., was an Army officer during the Vietnam War.
