At the end of her playing career, Bolton moved to Monroe where she worked as a graduate assistant on the Louisiana-Monroe men’s basketball team, handling basketball operations and player development, among other tasks, for the Warhawks as she earned her master’s in sports management. Bolton completed her master’s in 2022 before heading back home to Hammond.
A graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High in Hammond, Bolton is the daughter of two Lions for Life. Her dad, Tommy Bolton, played baseball for Southeastern while her mom, Erin Montalbano Bolton, was a member of the first Lady Lions softball team in 1985.
