Prior to Southeastern: Played in nine games with six starts as a true freshman for the Tigers, totaling nine tackles and tying for the team-lead with two interceptions ... started five of the first six games for Memphis... collected both interceptions in a win over Middle Tennessee and recorded a season-high three tackles against East Carolina in his first career start.

High School: Rated as a three-star defensive back and the No. 45 prospect by Rivals.com out of Lutcher High School ... was the River Parish Defensive Player of the Year ... coached by Tim Detillier ... recorded 48 tackles, 18 pass breakups and three interceptions as a senior in 2009 and helped the Bulldogs to a 13-1 record and an appearance in the Class 4A state semifinals ... as a junior in 2008, helped Lutcher to a 12-2 record and the Class 3A championship after recording 40 tackles and three interceptions.
