Prior to Southeastern: Comes to Hammond with three years of eligibility remaining … Threw for 1,688 yards and 13 touchdowns as a freshman at eighth-ranked Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College.
 
High School: Prepped at Searcy High School, where he threw for 6,011 yards and 62 touchdowns over his final two seasons.
