Biography

2010: Played in 10 games, making two starts at fullback … Caught two passes for six yards … Had a three-yard catch at Tulane … Also posted a catch for three yards versus Tennessee-Martin.

2009: Reserve fullback saw action in six games … Caught a pass for five yards in 69-20 rout of Union College.

2008: Redshirt season.

High School: Two-time All-District performer at Klein High School, where he served as a team captain … coached by Stan Labay … played both sides of the ball and was named the team’s Defensive Lineman of the Year … Also played on KHS baseball team and threw the shot put and discus for school’s track team.

Personal: Born Kyle Lambert Nichols in Houston, Texas … One of Mark and Cindy Nichols’ two children … Majoring in business.
