2021: Played in 13 games, making six starts at wide receiver … Southland Conference Freshman of the Year … First Lion to win the award since 2008 … Named All-Southland Conference at both wide receiver (second team) and kick returner (first team) … Also earned first team All-Louisiana accolades at return specialist … Caught 37 passes for 521 yards and five touchdowns … Led the Southland and ranked 16^th in FCS with a 26.6 kickoff return average … Named Southland and Louisiana Special Teams Player of the Week after tying a school record with a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in a 58-48 victory at Nicholls … Also had a 76-yard touchdown reception in the win at the Colonels … Pulled in 12 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown at UIW … Finished with three catches for 104 yards – including an 88-yard touchdown – in 51-14 victory at Northwestern State … Also caught touchdowns in SLC home wins over HBU and Northwestern State … First collegiate kickoff return went 68 yards in a 56-10 victory at Central Connecticut State … Also played on the SLU men’s basketball team, playing in 11 games as a reserve guard … Excellent student was named to the Southland Commissioner’s Fall Academic Honor Roll.
