Trey Nunez is in his second season as a member of the Southeastern football coaching staff. He coaches the team’s linebackers and serves as the program’s recruiting coordinator.
In his first season, Nunez oversaw a linebacker corps that featured the team’s two tacklers in KK Reno (94 tackles) and Donte’ Daniels (84). Reno was named to the All-Southland Conference selection.
Nunez came to Hammond after spending the 2023 season as a defensive graduate assistant at Louisiana Tech. He returns to Southeastern after spending the 2022 Southland Conference championship season as a defensive analyst with the Lions.
Nunez is a 2022 graduate of LSU. He served as a player personnel student assistant with the Tigers from 2019-22.
