Veteran coach Sam Gregg joined the Southeastern football coaching staff as offensive line coach prior to the 2025 season.
Gregg came to Hammond after spending three seasons as offensive line coach at Southern Miss, helping the Golden Eagles win the Lending Tree Bowl in
his first season. His unit cleared the way for back-to-back 1,000-plus yard seasons for running back Frank Gore Jr.
Prior to joining the staff at USM, Gregg spent three winning seasons at Liberty. The Flames advanced to and won bowl games each of Gregg’s years with the program.
Gregg also had stints at West Georgia (2014-18), West Alabama (2008-13), Arkansas-Monticello (2007) and Southwest Baptist (2005-06), starting his coaching career as a graduate assistant offensive line coach at Memphis in 2004.
A 2002 graduate of Murray State, Gregg and his wife, Mandy, have one son, Britt.
