Former National Football League coach Matt Applebaum is in his first season on the Southeastern Louisiana football staff as the offensive line coach.
Applebaum spent the 2014 season as an offensive assistant with the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars.

Prior to his time with the Jaguars, Applebaum was the offensive line coach at Bucknell. Applebaum came to Bucknell after spending two seasons at the University of Miami, where he was an offensive quality control and graduate assistant for the Hurricanes.

Applebaum spent three seasons with the Washington Redskins in various roles, serving as a pro and college personal assistant, before assisting with the offensive line in his final season with Washington. He started his coaching career at Central Connecticut State, coaching tight ends and serving as the video coordinator.

Applebaum lettered three seasons at Connecticut, where he started on the offensive line for his final two seasons. A native of Yardley, Pennsylvania, Applebaum earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from UConn in 2007.
