2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 18 games, starting six …  hit .172, scoring six runs and driving in three … stole one base (two attempts) … drew four walks and three HBP, striking out 12 times … recorded a .172 slugging percentage and a .333 on-base percentage … went 2-for-4 with a walk, HBP, stolen base, RBI and two runs scored against UL Lafayette (3/29) … drove in a run with a pinch-hit single at Stephen F. Austin (4/28).

High School: Marucci Louisiana High School Baseball Player of the Year in 2016 and LSWA Louisiana 3A Player of the Year in 2015 … a Top-500 player nationally and the No. 11-rated player overall in Louisiana according to Perfect Game … four-year letterwinner at West Feliciana HS … went 7-1 with 1.39 ERA on the mound and hit .412 with five home runs and 39 RBIs, helping lead the Saints to the 3A title in 2016 …  Rawlings-Perfect Game All-American … All-State and All-District performer … named All-Metro Player of the Year (classes 3A and below) by The Advocate.
