2017 Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2016 (Sophomore): Named an ABCA / Rawlings NJCAA All-American after hitting .366 with 26 doubles, 22 home runs and 71 RBIs at Metropolitan CC-Longview … scored 64 runs … led team in doubles, home runs and RBIs … second in batting average and runs scored … compiled a .413 on-base percentage and a .745 slugging percentage … turned in four multi-homer games … named the NJCAA National Player of the Week (April 14) after hitting .444 with six home runs and 14 RBIs.

2015 (Freshman): Played in 31 games at Metropolitan CC-Longview … hit .289 with nine doubles, one triple, two home runs and 15 RBIs … scored 16 runs … walked 12 times for a .381 on-base percentage … primary position was catcher.

High School: Played baseball and football at Dowling Catholic HS in West Des Moines, Iowa … earned All-State, All-Conference and All-District honors in baseball … hit .407 with six home runs … had a 1.85 pop time as a catcher … participated in Best Buddies, Legion of Our Lady and was a morning prayer leader … lists his biggest sports thrill as hitting a walk-off home run in a high school postseason elimination game.
