2011 (Junior): Compiled a 5-2 record for the season with a 3.81 earned run average … started eight games and appeared in relief six times … struck out 49 in 56.2 innings pitched … third on the Lions’ staff in innings pitched and strike outs … struck out a career-high nine batters (5.1 IP) March 5 against Sacred Heart in season debut … first five and last appearance of season were out of the bullpen … worked multiple innings in every relief outing … posted a 4-2 record as a starting pitcher … earned win March 22 against UNO with 5 innings of relief work - fanning four, walking two, allowing two hits and one unearned run … picked up wins with scoreless starting efforts against UNO (March 30) and Lamar (April 3).

2010 (Sophomore): Posted a 4-2 record for the season with six saves and a 3.07 earned run average … appeared in a team high 27 games … started games against Alcorn State, LSU and McNeese State (in the Southland Conference Tournament) … limited batters to .241 average and compiled a 2.59 earned run average out of the bullpen … allowed only one earned run in first 15 innings of work, including 10.1 consecutive scoreless innings … picked up two wins and four saves during that early-season stretch … earned win at Mississippi State with 4.2 scoreless inning of relief and six strikeouts … also struck out six batters en route to picking up win against Alcorn State.

2009 (Freshman): Recorded a 4-2 record on the mound and led all starters with a 4.50 earned run average … allowed 64 hits – the lowest among the Lion starters … finished third on the team in innings pitched (60.0) and starts (10) … earned first collegiate victory at Louisiana-Lafayette, going a season-high 5.2 innings in relief with five strikeouts … earned start in next appearance against Mississippi Valley, fanning a season-high seven batters and allowing two hits in 5.1 innings … pitched five innings and allowed two earned runs in a victory at UTSA … earned his first collegiate save against Sam Houston State, tossing 3.1 innings and scattering six hits with two strikeouts … pitched three innings in relief, allowing one earned run to earn a win over Northwestern State in the Southland Conference Tournament.

High School: Earned four letters in baseball and three letters in football at Parkview Baptist School ... helped PBS to Class 3A state championships in football and baseball his senior year ... named all-metro, all-district and all-state in baseball and was named all-district in football.
