Prior to Southeastern-

Junior College: Helped LSU-Eunice to the JUCO Division II National Championship in the 2008 season ... Went 10-2 with a 2.48 ERA over two seasons at LSU-E.

High School: Lettered in baseball all four years at Bethany Christian, hitting .571 with 16 home runs as a hitter ... Finished 8-3 with 110 K in 48.0 IP during his senior year ... Was a three-time all-state and four-time all-district honoree ... Was named district MVP and played in the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association  All-Star Game in 2006.
