HIGH SCHOOL: Perfect Game Top 1000 … earned three letters playing baseball at Ouachita Christian for coach John Parker … Max Preps Small School All-American as a senior ... helped lead Ouachita Christian to a 34-5 record and a state title … named MVP of the state championship game … earned Northeast Louisiana Player of the Year, LSWA 1A MVP and LBCA 1A Hitter of the Year honors after batting .405 with 13 doubles, four triples, five home runs, 43 RBIs and 27 walks … two-time All-State, All-Northeast Louisiana and All-Parish catcher … three-time All-District catcher … helped lead Ouachita Christian to the state championship game as a sophomore … also a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Foreign Language Club … served as senior class treasurer.
 
PERSONAL: Born Clinton Wade Hargrave, Jr. in Monroe, Louisiana … son of Wade and Cindy Hargrave … has a younger sister, Ginny Claire … grandfather, Jim Brown, played football at Louisiana Tech … enjoys hunting, fishing, photography and weightlifting … majoring in business administration.
