2009 (Junior): Named a third-team All-America by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association … named Honorable Mention All-Southland Conference … opened the season as the Lions’ starting third baseman before concentrating as the team’s closer out of the bullpen … went 5-2 on the mound with a 2.60 earned run average and a school-record 12 saves … tied for the Southland Conference lead in saves and was second in games finished (22) and 10th in games in relief (24) … helped Southeastern to series victories against Central Arkansas and UT Arlington collecting two saves in each series … pitched a season-high 5.2 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and fanning three in an elimination game against UTSA in the Southland Conference Tournament … pitched 1.1 innings to record first save against Louisiana-Lafayette … earned save against Tulane, tossing two innings and allowing one hit … tossed 1.2 innings in relief to earn the save against Sam Houston State before coming back the following day, tossing two innings of three-hit relief to record his second victory of the season … won his final four decisions … pitched 1.1 innings of no-hit ball in getting a victory against Nicholls State after fanning two batters in one scoreless innings to earn the save against the Colonels the day before … fanned a season-high six batters in 2.2 innings in a win at Northwestern State pitched 1.1 innings to earn his ninth save (breaking the previous single-season record set by Chris Province) against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi … hit .261 with 18 RBI at the plate … posted a 10-game hitting streak where he hit .447 (17-for-38 with 11 runs scored … went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI in series finale at UTSA … went 3-for-6 with a triple and RBI against Mississippi Valley … went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a season-high four RBI against South Alabama … went 5-for-10 with three runs scored in season-opening series against Eastern Illinois.

Junior College: Pitched and played shortstop and third base at Jefferson State Community College ... hit .370 with nine home runs, 13 doubles and 42 RBI and posted a 2.86 ERA as a sophomore ... named to the all-state, all-region and all-conference tournament teams in his final year at JSCC.

High School: Lettered all four years in football and baseball at Oneonta HS ... named all-county once in football and four times in baseball ... twice was named Class 3A All-State in baseball and was listed among Alabama's top 100 baseball prospects as a senior ... hit .485 with 29 extra-base hits (20 doubles, six home runs and three triples) and went 12-2 with a 0.87 ERA as a senior.
