2011 (Freshman): Hit .185 with one home run and 11 RBI … had an .439 on-base percentage … started three games at first base, 10 games in right field and three as the designated hitter … hit first home run, a 3-run shot, April 2 against Lamar … had one multi-hit game and three multi-RBI games.

High School: Three-year letterman at Dutchtown High School … named All-Metro Player of the Year as a senior … all-district selection twice … selected to 5A All-State team after hitting .470 with 5 home runs and 43 RBI as a senior.
