2010 Southland Conference Honor Roll

2012 (Junior): Played in 28 matches, starting 19 … recorded 12 kills, eight assists, 19 service aces and 188 digs (1.88 d/s) … tied for the team lead in services aces and tied for third-most digs … posted double-digit digs in three contests, including career-high 19 digs at Stephen F. Austin … recorded 11 digs against Texas Southern and 10 at Central Arkansas … tied a career best with three service aces against Central Arkansas … tallied a season-high three kills versus Lamar and posted a block assist at Oral Roberts … recorded points in 18 matches, including seven straight (9/7-21).

2011 (Sophomore): Played in 29 matches (87 sets) on the season, earning the start nine times … placed third in receptions (.349) … finished fifth overall on the team in digs (140) and digs per set (1.61) … recorded a season-best four kills at Northwestern State … posted a pair of matches with 10 or more digs, highlighted by a season-high 12 in a four-set win over Louisiana-Monroe … added 11 digs against Southland Conference-foe Texas-Arlington … served a pair of aces at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

2010 (Freshman): Played in 32 matches (82 sets) on the season, earning the start 15 times … finished third overall on the team in kills per set (1.80) and points per set (2.04) … finished fifth overall in total kills (148) while finishing third in total attempts (517) … posted three matches with 10 or more kills, highlighted by a season-high 14 in a three-set win over Centenary … added 12 kills in a win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and 10 against in-state rival Nicholls State … tallied a season-high 17 digs at UT Arlington and 11 against Alabama A&M … served three aces against UTSA.

High School: A two-time All-County and three-time All-District honoree at Clear Creek High School where she was coached by Scott Simonds … twice selected as a USA High Performance Select Team member representing the Absolute Volleyball Academy of Texas … team captain at CCHS as a senior and AVA in 2008 … part of an AVA squad that advanced the 2008 Junior Olympics … coached at AVA by Todd Porter and Rhonda Woodward … excelled in the classroom at CCHS, representing her school on the Academic All-District team on three occasions.

Personal: Born Cherish Rei Krohn in Red Deer, Alberta … the daughter of Todd and Sue Krohn … has one sister, Kristin … father played football at Southern Oregon ... enjoys going to the beach and wakeboarding … a Biology major.
