2021: Appeared in 27 games with 11 starts … Finished with a 9-5 record and a 4.62 earned run average … Struck out 42 in 66.2 innings … Opponent batting average was .283 … Struck out season-high seven batters versus North Texas … Did not allow an earned run and fanned five in six innings of work in an 8-1 win over Lamar … Tossed 2.1 innings of shutout relief in 6-4 victory over Mississippi State … Earned the win with a three innings of scoreless relief in 9-5 win at Northwestern State in the regular season finale … A member of the Southland Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2020: Was 5-1 with a save and a 0.93 earned run average in debut season … Appeared in 12 games … Struck out 39 in 45.0 innings pitched … Held opponents to a .182 batting average … Threw 4.1 innings of relief and struck out six in 6-5 victory over UT Martin … Struck out eight and scattered five hits in a complete-game effort in SLU’s 6-1 win over Longwood … Fanned five and allowed three hits in 5-0 win over Middle Tennessee State … Threw 2.2 innings of shutout relief to earn a save versus ULM … Tossed three shutout innings in 8-0 victory at Texas A&M … Allowed one run in six innings of work in a series-clinching 2-1 league win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi ... High School: Named Miss Softball for the state of Louisiana, Gatorade Player of the Year and Class 3A Most Valuable Player after leading Brusly High School to a state championship as a senior … Finished senior season with a 25-1 record, 0.56 earned run average and 280 strikeouts … Also hit .500 with 10 home runs and 36 RBI … Four-time all-state, all-metro and all-district selection … Three-time district MVP … Was 69-13 with a 1.49 ERA and 673 strikeouts as a senior … Also batted .441 with 25 home runs and 127 RBI at BHS … Two-time all-district and district defensive MVP on the volleyball court.

Personal: Born Mary-Cathryn Joy Comeaux in Baton Rouge, Louisiana … Parents are Jory and Tiffanie Comeaux … Has a pair of older sisters, Carlie and Camryn, and a younger brother, Mason … Older sister, Carlie, played softball at ULM … Father, Jory, was a golfer at Louisiana Tech … A kinesiology major.
