Junior Season (2025):
Competed in six meets, racing in distances ranging from 200 meters to a mile... Quickest of two mile runs of the season came at the LSU Twilight indoor meet, where he crossed the line in 4:45.96... Fastest 800-meter time of the year was 1:55.87 at the SLC Indoor Championships... Finished lone 600-meter race of the season in 1:23.15 at the Lurline Hamilton Invitational outdoor meet at LSU... Clocked in at 23.05 seconds in his only 200-meter dash of the season, which he ran at the Pelican Relays outdoor meet at Southern.
Sophomore Season (2024):
Competed in 11 meets for the Lions... Ran his quickest mile of the season at the LSU Twilight, coming across in 4:35.75... Quickest 800-meter run came at the LSU Alumni Gold, finishing in 1:54.95... Only 1,500-meter run of the season came at the Keyth Talley Invitational, finishing that run in 4:28.32... Competed in his only 3,000-meter run at the SLC Indoor Championships, posting a time of 9:58.55... Was part of the 4x400-meter relay at three different meets throughout the season.
Freshman Season (2023):
Competed in 12 meets in his debut season in the green & gold... Competed in his first meet as a Lion at the Birmingham-Southern Indoor Icebreaker, where he ran his only 3,000-meter run of the season by finishing in 9:48.55... Also competed in the distance medley relay at the BSC Indoor Icebreaker... Quickest 800-meter run of the year came at the Strawberry Relays, coming in second in 1:54.12... Fastest 1,500-meter run came at Southern's Pelican Relays, crossing the line in 4:16.11... Ran the mile at the Howie Ryan Invitational, stopping the clock in 4:45.18... Was part of the DMR team at the SLC Indoor Championships... Ran the 800-meter and 5,000-meter runs at the SLC Outdoor Championships.
Prior to Southeastern:
Prepped at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans... Was on the track & field team for the Crusaders, competing in the 800-meter run, 1,600-meter run, 4x400-meter relay, & 4x800-meter relay... Named team captain... Fastest times in high school - 1:57.01 in 800m, 4:14 in the 1,500., & 4:31 in the 1,600m.

Born February 27, 2004 in New Orleans... Son of Darian Chestnut & Coy Robinson... Goes by the nickname "DJ"... Has two older siblings, Ashante & Trayon... Hobbies include track & being with family & friends... Biggest sports thrill was competing in the Junior Olympics... Majors in kinesiology at SLU.
