PRIOR TO SLU: Played three seasons at East Central CC in Decatur, Mississippi … two-time All-Conference selection … hit .200 during abbreviated 2020 season … returned to slash .424 / .480 / .616 during the 2021 season with 16 doubles, six home runs and 41 RBIs … stole 16 bases and scored 51 runs … named team MVP … followed that up with a .388 / .475 / .541 performance during the 2022 season with 14 doubles, four home runs and 34 RBIs … stole 21 bases and scored 49 runs … walked (27) more often than he struck out (22) … finished career ranked second on the program's all-time hits list.
