2022 [SENIOR]: Appeared in 58 games, starting all but one … slashed .243 / .451 / .363 with nine doubles, two triples and 10 home runs … scored 48 runs and drove in another 40 … combined walks (28) and HBPs (12) were more than strikeouts (37) … tied for the team lead with seven sacrifice bunts … contributed a pair of sac flies … led the team with 28 stolen bases, a total that ranks fifth in program history … finished the season second on the team in home runs … third in runs scored, triples and RBIs … fourth in slugging percentage and walks … produced 11 multi-hit games, including a five-hit performance against South Alabama (April 19) … drove in multiple runs 13 times, ranking second on the squad … produced an eight-game hitting streak, March 20-April 2 … reached base in 14 consecutive games … Southland Preseason All-Conference selection.

2021 [JUNIOR]: Earned Southland All-Conference (third team) and All-Academic (second team) honors in addition to being a member of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll … appeared in 46 games, starting 45 … slashed .318 / .494 / .412 with 11 doubles, two triples and four home runs … led the team in batting average and slugging percentage … scored 31 runs and drove in another 29 … contributed a pair of sac flies and four sac bunts … swiped 19 bags in 21 attempts … produced 15 multi-hit performances and six multi-RBI games … homered twice against Abilene Christian (April 10) … strung together a nine-game hitting streak (April 3-18) ... named the Southland Hitter of the Week (April 19) following a 6-for-16 performance (.375) at SFA in which he doubled, homered, drove in six runs and stole four bases.

2020 [SOPHOMORE]: Appeared in all 16 of Southeastern's games, starting each during pandemic-shortened season ... slashed .297 / .389 / .424 with three doubles and one triple ... scored eight runs and drove in another five ... drew a team-leading eight walks and was hit by another four pitches, striking out 10 times ... led the team and the Southland Conference with nine stolen bases ... tied for the team lead in hits and HBPs ... ranked second on the team in runs scored and doubles ... produced three-multi-hit games, including a three-hit game against Stony Brook (2/28) ... drove in multiple runs twice ... squeezed home a run against UL Lafayette (2/18) ... started 10 games at shortstop, five in center field and one at second base ... four-game hitting streak (2/15 - 2/22) tied for the team high ... ended the season with a three-game hitting / reached-base streak.

PRIOR TO SLU: Played freshman season at Snead State CC in Boaz, Alabama … earned All-North Division and All-District honors … produced a .396 / .519 / .678 slash line with eight doubles, two triples and 10 home runs … scored 57 runs and drove in another 40 … walked (35) more times than he struck out (29) … picked up 38 stolen bases … led the team in batting average, runs scored, hits, triples, home runs, walks and stolen bases.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Columbus North High School in Columbus, Indiana … team captain as a junior and senior … earned All-State honors and was a member of the North South All-Star team ... two-time All-Conference honoree … team MVP … second in school history in hits and owns a career .415 batting average … hold both the single-season (48) and career stolen base (108) record.
 
PERSONAL: Born Tyler Marshall Finke in Columbus, Indiana … son of Rodney and Beth Finke … has a pair of siblings, Evan and Carley … brother played baseball at Snead State and Purdue Northwest … enjoys hunting and fishing … majoring in athletic training.
