HIGH SCHOOL: Played basketball and baseball at Doyle HS … helped lead the Tigers to the state title game … compiled a 10-4 W-L record with three saves and 0.61 ERA in 80.0 IP as a senior, striking out 121 batters … earned All-State, All-Metro and All-District honors … threw a perfect game against Loranger in season debut … helped lead Doyle to a 29-9 record … played in the LHSCA All-Star Game …  once struck out 17 in a single game.
