PRIOR TO SOUTHEASTERN: Senior transfer from Grand Canyon where he played for former major leaguer Andy Stankiewicz.

2020 [COVID-19]: Made nine appearances out of the GCU bullpen, the third-most on the team ... featured a 2.08 ERA through first eight appearances before allowing four runs to hot-hitting Arkansas team ... opponents' batting average of .211 ranked fourth on team ... winning pitcher after 1.1 innings of one-run relief against Pacific (3/7).

2019 [JUNIOR]: Led the Lopes and tied for fifth in the conference with 28 appearances ... led the team and tied for sixth in the conference with five saves ... had just one wild pitch in 38 innings of relief work ... picked up first save in first GCU appearance, a three-inning opening-night outing against Wichita State (2/15) in front of 4,562 at GCU Ballpark ... used in three games of a four-game series against Xavier in mid-March where he did not yield a run ... recorded a save in back-to-back road appearances at Arizona (4/23) and at New Mexico (5/1) ... ended season on high note, pitching five innings in the WAC Tournament and allowing just one run ... threw three scoreless innings and earned a save against No. 2-seed UT Rio Grande Valley (5/23) ... played summer ball for the Mankato MoonDogs of the Northwoods League.

2017-2018 [JUNIOR COLLEGE]: Played at Santa Ana College in Santa Ana, California ... program's Pitcher of the Year in 2018 ... team's closer as a sophomore in 2018, appearing in a team-high 21 games, recording five saves with 35 strikeouts and a 2.55 ERA ... posted a 4-1 record and a 2.68 ERA in 43.2 innings as a freshman in 2017.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-conference honors as a junior (second team) and senior (2016) at Tustin HS ... as a senior, played with his younger brother, an experience that he cites as his favorite high school sports memory ... played club baseball on the SoCal Birds.

PERSONAL: Born Coleman Hoskins in Long Beach, California ... son of Joe and Krista Hoskins ... parents both attended Long Beach State ... younger brother, Kyle, plays baseball at Cal State Northridge ... off-the-field hobbies include surfing, traveling and collecting vinyl records ... lists biggest sports thrill as picking up a three-inning save in a combined shutout of UTRGV during the 2019 WAC Tournament, sending GCU to the tournament semis ... future goals after a playing career include working in the communications department for a professional sports organization ... favorite teams are the Los Angeles Angels and Anaheim Ducks ... pursuing a master's in organizational communication at Southeastern.
