2009:
Played in two games, collecting six solo tackles before suffering a season-ending injury … Granted a medical redshirt … Heads into final season as the school’s career leader in fumble returns (three) and fumble return touchdowns (two) … Also ranks among the school’s career leaders in tackles (257, 6th), solo tackles (189, 4th), forced fumbles (5, 2nd), fumble recoveries (5, 7th) and blocked kicks (2, 5th) … A 2010 preseason All-America selection by Consensus Draft Services.

2008: FCS All-American selection by the Sports Network (second team), Associated Press (third team) and College Sporting News (honorable mention) … First team All-Southland Conference and All-Louisiana selection … Led the team and ranked third in the SLC with 108 tackles (league-high 79 solo) … Also led the conference with four interceptions … Finished the year with five tackles for loss, two sacks, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, four pass breakups and two blocked kicks … Started all 12 games and was credited with at least six tackles in every game … Made season-high 15 tackles and recorded a sack at Central Arkansas … Was named Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week after making 11 tackles (10 solo), a tackle for loss and an interception in a 38-35 victory over North Dakota … Again earned SLC weekly honors after a strong eight-tackle performance in 30-27 road triumph at Sam Houston State … In the win over the Bearkats, he blocked a field goal on the final play of regulation to force overtime and picked off a pass … In the season-opening 34-28 win over Alcorn State, helped clinch the win with a 12-yard fumble return for a touchdown to go with an interception and seven tackles … Also clinched a 26-21 victory with an interception on Northwestern State’s final drive while also blocking a kick and finishing with 10 tackles versus the Demons … Made 12 tackles at Stephen F. Austin … Credited with 10 stops in a 31-30 victory over South Dakota … Posted a sack versus Texas State … Named to the Southland Conference All-Academic team for the second straight season.

2007: Second team All-Southland Conference selection for the second straight season, after establishing himself as the team’s most consistent defender … Started all 11 games in the defensive backfield for the Lions … Sixth on the team and second in the Southland Conference with 75 tackles … Also was fourth in the SLC with a team-high nine tackles for loss … Forced three fumbles, recovered one fumble, made one interception and broke up four passes … Best effort of sophomore campaign came in season finale versus Nicholls State … Recorded 11 tackles, forced a fumble, intercepted a pass and clinched a 17-13 Lion victory with a pass breakup … Awarded Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his effort versus the Colonels … A week earlier, recorded 10 tackles, including two for loss versus Sam Houston State … Broke up a option pitch and returned the ensuing fumble for a touchdown in a 21-3 versus Stephen F. Austin … Forced a fumble and was credited with a season-high three tackles for loss … Made two tackles for loss versus Kentucky Wesleyan … Also had tackles for loss at New Mexico State and versus Central Arkansas … Had nine tackles at McNeese State, eight tackles at New Mexico State and versus SFA, while also recording seven stops versus both Kentucky Wesleyan and UCA … Broke up passes at Northwestern State, versus UCA and at Texas State … Had six or more tackles in all but three games last season … Also was an outstanding performer in the classroom, earning Southland Conference All-Academic honors.

Named second team All-Southland Conference after making an immediate impact at strong safety ... Second on the team and 12th in the SLC with 68 tackles (35 solo) ... Also had three tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an interception ... Versus Stephen F. Austin, he finished with 16 tackles, a tackle for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery that he returned 27 yards ... Made 10 tackles, including one for loss at Texas State ... Recorded interception at McNeese State ... Finished with nine tackles and a pass breakup in Southeastern’s overtime win over Northwestern State ... Credited with eight stops versus Sam Houston State ... Also broke up passes versus Jacksonville and Nicholls State ... One of only two freshman to be selected to the All-SLC first or second teams.

High School: Three-time All-West Bank selection … twice named All-District and All-Metro … twice named to the All Clarion Herald Catholic League team … was named All State first team selection as well as Academic All-State first team in 2005 ...
