2020 [COVID-19]: Appeared in five games ... slashed .400 / 1.000 / .500 with one home run ... scored one run and drove in one ... struck out twice and hit by one pitch ... did not draw a walk ... 1-for-4 as a pinch hitter, including a go-ahead home run in the series finale at Central Arkansas (3/8) ... picked up both hits in that game ... ranked second on the team in home runs.

PRIOR TO SLU: Redshirted in 2019 at Mississippi State … played his freshman and sophomore seasons at East Mississippi CC in Scooba, Mississippi … earned All-MACJC honors as a sophomore … started all 42 in which he appeared … produced a .315 / .343 / .549 slash line with 14 doubles and eight home runs … drove in 36 runs and scored another 32 … helped EMCC to a 25-20 record as a freshman … batted .323 with six doubles and two triples … scored 31 runs and drove in another 21.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at Pearl River Central HS … batted .292 as a senior and .379 as a junior with 13 RBIs and 20 runs scored … picked up 11 stolen bases … earned South State and All-District honors … two-time All-State swimmer … earned All-State honors in cross country.
 
PERSONAL: Born Anthony Arthur Hickman, Jr. in Metairie, Louisiana … son of Tony and Tina Hickman … has a pair of older siblings, Kyle and Ashley … enjoys hunting and fishing … majoring in criminal justice.
