Biography

2008 (Junior):  Finished second on the team with 32 service aces ... Was second on the Lady Lions with 223 digs while playing 106 sets, making two starts and appearing in all 28 matches ... Recorded ten or more digs on nine different occasions, including a season-high 16 against Missouri-Kansas City on Sept. 13 ... Had a pair of aces in the season opener against South Alabama on Aug. 30 ... Notched a season-best four aces in a five-set Lady Lion win over Sam Houston State on Oct. 14.

2007 (Sophomore):  The only Lady Lion to play in all 92 games ... Started 14 of 28 matches ... Posted 158 digs, good for a 1.72 dig/g average ... Led the team and finished 24th in the nation with 51 service aces (0.55 SA/G) ... Finished the season with 51 points for a 0.55 pt/gm average ... Recorded 14 matches with multiple service aces, including two six-ace contests ...  On defense, recorded five matches with double-digit digs ... Twice posted a season-high of 12 digs (Oct. 2 at Alcorn State and Oct. 27 at Texas A&M Corpus Christi) ... Recorded the first multi-kill contests of her career with two each on Oct. 2 at Alcorn State and Oct. 10 vs. Grambling State.

2006 (Freshman):  Finished fourth on the team in digs per game splitting time at libero and defensive specialist ... Had four matches with 15 or more digs ... Recorded a season-high 20 digs at Jacksonville in the JU Crispers Invitational ... Posted 19 digs against Southern Miss in the ULL/Capital One Classic, her third career match ... Totaled 16 digs in a home match against Louisiana-Lafayette and added 15 against Samford in the USA Jaguar Classic ... Credited with two assists in matches against ULL and Lamar ... Recorded one block in Lady Lions’ home opener against Alcorn State ... Had one kill in Southland Conference match at Texas State.

High School:  A four-year letterwinner and 2005 team captain in volleyball for Nancy Plaisance at Slidell High School … A first-team Division I, District 4 and All-St. Tammany Parish selection … named honorable mention Academic All-State … Twice named the Tigers’ top defensive player … Nominated for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award … Second-team All-District selection as a junior … Also lettered in tennis and twice earned the Coaches’ Award Slidell High.

PERSONAL:  Daughter of C.O. and Annette Pittman … Older sister, Rachel (26), was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball at LSU from 2001-04 … An Early Childhood Education major.
