2018 [JUNIOR]: Appeared in 12 games, starting 10 … compiled a 3-2 record with a 4.82 ERA in 52.1 innings pitched … struck out 38 and walked just nine batters for a 4.2 K/BB ratio, second-best on a staff that finished seventh in the nation (3.08)) … issued just 1.55 BB/9 on a staff that allowed the third-fewest BB/9 in the nation (2.47) … surrendered 61 hits as opponents hit .290 off the right-hander … fourth on the staff in wins, games started and innings pitched … Lions were 5-5 in his starts … named the Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week after scattering two hits over eight scoreless innings against Purdue (March 13), earning his first DI win … also picked up wins against Tulane (March 27) and Alcorn State (April 3) … member of the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2017 [SOPHOMORE]: Compiled a 9-3 record to go along with a pair of saves and a 2.62 ERA at Neosho County CC in Chanute, Kansas … struck out 72 batters in 89 innings of work, walking 16 … opponents hit .243 off the right-hander … led team in wins, starts (13), complete games (11), innings pitched and strikeouts … earned All-Conference and All-Tournament (District VI) honors … set school record for career wins.
 
2016 [FRESHMAN]: Compiled a 10-0 record and a 3.51 ERA at Neosho County CC … struck out 47 batters in 82 innings of work, walking 29 … opponents hit .260 off the right-hander … tied for team lead in wins … led staff in starts and innings pitched … earned a first team All-Conference and second team All-District (VI) after helping Neosho to a 51-11 record.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport star at Fort Scott HS and also a member of the student council … earned three letters each in both football and basketball, and four in baseball … earned All-League honors as a quarterback and punter and honorable mention All-State as QB during his senior season … honorable mention All-League and All-State in basketball as a senior … three-time All-League pitcher and catcher … earned All-State honors as a catcher during his junior season … earned All-State honors as a pitcher and named 4A Player of the Year as a senior.
 
PERSONAL: Born in Fort Scott, Kansas … son of Jeff and Pam Knopp … has two older brothers, Dillon and Griffin … father played basketball at Fort Scott CC … brother, Griffin, played football at Pittsburg State University … enjoys hunting and fishing … majoring in general studies.
