2021 [SENIOR]: Earned Southland All-Conference honors (second team) and was a member of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll … started each of the team’s 56 games … slashed .269 / .451 / .393 with nine doubles, one triple and eight home runs … scored 39 runs and drove in a team-leading 48 … second on the team with 31 walks … hit by a pitch 11 times … contributed a team-high four sac flies along with one sac bunt … swiped three bags in five attempts … produced 15 multi-hit games, including a four-hit performance in the series opener against Sam Houston (March 12) … his nine total bases in that contest tied the team-high … led the team with 15 multi-RBI games, including driving in four in three separate contests … set the program’s single-game record with four HBPs in the second game of a season-opening doubleheader against Mississippi Valley State (Feb. 20) ... carries a six-game reached-base streak into the 2022 season … selected to the Southland’s 2021 Preseason All-Conference squad.

2020 [JUNIOR]: Appeared in 15 games, starting each during pandemic-shortened season ... slashed .157 / .255 / .274 with two doubles and one home run ... scored six runs and picked up eight RBIs ... walked seven times and hit by another two pitches, striking out a team-leading 23 times ... led the team with two sacrifice flies ... ranked second on the team in home runs, RBIs and walks ... produced one multi-hit game ... started 13 games at first base and two in left field ... lone home run was a grand slam in the series finale at Central Arkansas (3/8) ... ended the season with a three-game hitting / reach-base streak.

2019 [SOPHOMORE]: Started all 60 games the Lions played … honorable mention for the Southland’s All-Conference squad … slashed .273 / .360 / .488 with a team-leading 17 doubles and 11 home runs … also legged out one triple … scored 47 runs and drove in another 48 … walked 24 times and hit by 10 pitches, striking out 62 times … perfect 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts … led the team in slugging percentage … ranked sixth in the Southland in home runs, seventh in doubles and eighth in both RBIs and runs scored … produced multiple hits in 18 contests, including a career-high four hits at McNeese (April 16) … tied the school single-game record for doubles in a game (3) during that contest … drove in multiple runs during 16 games, leading the squad … produced a 17-game reached base streak (March 23-April 19) that was tops on the team … streak ended in the second game of a doubleheader, starting a five-game streak the next day … named Southland Conference Hitter of the Week (April 22) following a 9-for-17 performance (.529) at the plate over the course of the previous four contests, stroking five doubles and scoring five runs ... also picked up three RBIs and a pair of walks.

2018 [FRESHMAN]: Appeared in 15 games, starting seven … produced a .150 / .150 / .433 slash line of batting average / slugging percentage / on-base percentage … 3-for-20 at the plate … scored two runs and drove in two more … drew one walk, hit by nine pitches and struck out 10 times … successful in his only steal attempt … went 3-for-4 at the plate, driving in two runs in the first game of a doubleheader against No. 25-ranked UConn (Feb. 24) ... played summer ball for the Acadiana Cane Cutters of the Texas Collegiate League.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball and football at Live Oak HS … Perfect Game Top 1000 player and No. 3-rated third baseman in Louisiana … hit .361 with seven home runs and 41 RBI as a senior … All-Parish MVP in both baseball and football (defense) … led the team with .393 batting average eight doubles, four home runs and 20 RBIs as a junior … hit .291 as a sophomore with five doubles, three triples, five home runs and 31 RBIs … earned multiple All-District and All-Parish honors in his career … middle linebacker for the Live Oak football squad.
 
PERSONAL: Born Preston John Faulkner in Baton Rouge, Louisiana … son of Asa and Sharon Faulkner … father played collegiate baseball at Louisiana College … has an older sibling, Landon … enjoys spending time with friends … majoring in general studies at Southeastern.
