2009 Honorable Mention All-Southland Conference

2009 (Junior): Led team in victories (6) and innings pitched (87.2) in his role as the No. 1 starter … posted a 6-4 record with a 5.03 earned run average in 14 appearances on the mound … won five games in six appearances on the mound beginning with a six-inning, three-hit effort against Sacred Heart … pitched eight innings and fanned a season-high 14 in a no-decision against UTSA … pitched 6.2 innings with eight strikeouts in a series-opening win against McNeese State … scattered six hits in 7.2 innings in win over Central Arkansas … allowed one run in complete-game, seven-inning victory over Lamar … fanned four batters and allowed two earned runs in win over UT Arlington … scattered eight hits and fanned three in a win over Sam Houston State.

Junior College: Helped LSU-Eunice to the 2008 JUCO Division II national championship ... went 11-0 with a 2.50 ERA as a freshman and went 13-1 with a 2.64 ERA as a sophomore ... a second-team all-region selection as a freshman as well as a first-team all-region and second-team All-American as a sophomore ... named team captain in his final season at LSU-E.
