2008 (Senior): Sat out the 2008 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

2007 (Junior): Made 15 relief appearances in 2007 ... Did not earn a decision despite posting a 3.94 ERA (7 ER/18.1 IP) ... Held the opposition scoreless in nine outings and allowed one or fewer earned runs in 14 appearances ... Worked more than 2.0 innings in five outings, posting a 2.45 ERA (3 ER/ 11.0 IP) in those appearances ... Struck out 24 batters in 18.1 innings while walking just six for a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 4.00 and a strikeout-per-nine-inning mark of 11.78 ... Struck out a season-high five batters over 2.0 scoreless innings of relief on April 17 at UL-Lafayette ... Southeastern went 10-5 in games in which he appeared.

Prior to Southeastern-

Junior College: Posted a 2-3 record with a 6.55 earned run average as both a starter and reliever at Garden City (Kan.) Community College ... earned wins against Odessa College – in his 2006 debut – and Cloud County CC.

High School: Attended Houston’s Clear Lake High School where he was a three-year letterwinner in baseball.
