Biography

2015 (Freshman): Compiled a 1-0 win-loss record and 7.94 ERA in 12 appearances, all in relief … struck out eight batters in 11.1 innings of work … earned the win in the Lions 5-3 comeback victory at UL Lafayette (4/14) … worked a scoreless inning against Louisiana Tech (2/15) in his collegiate debut … also turned in scoreless outing against Tulane (3/17) and South Alabama (4/7).

2014 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: Played baseball at Walker H.S. … earned All-District and All-Parish honors as a pitcher for the Wildcats … earned two letters as quarterback and place kicker for the football team.

Personal: Son of Rachelle Bethel and Darren Sibley (stepfather) … mother attended Southeastern … has four younger siblings … enjoys hunting and fishing … serves as a volunteer firefighter …  majoring in kinesiology.
