2015: Started all 22 matches … Closed out her Southeastern career with her first All-Louisiana honor and also made the NSCAA All-Central Region second team … Earned All-Southland Conference first team honors after ranking first in the Southland with 33 points while tying for the league lead with nine assists … Was also second with 66 shots and tied for second with 12 goals and four game-winning goals … Finished the season ranked in the Lady Lions’ top 10 in all five categories ... Made the All-SLC Tournament team after scoring a goal and recording an assist in a 3-1 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the first round and adding an assist in a 1-0 semifinal win over top-seeded Stephen F. Austin … Also connected during the penalty kick phase against Sam Houston in the finals… Had a seven-point game in the Lady Lions’ 7-1 win over Incarnate Word with three goals and an assist… Recorded three assists in a 5-2 win at Mississippi Valley State… Scored twice in a 3-2 win over Lamar…Had a goal and an assist in 6-0 win over Texas Southern.

2014: Saw action in 19 matches, starting 13 … Finished the season with five goals, five assists and 15 points … Netted two goals – including the game-winner – in a 3-1 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi … Also assisted Kayla Vera’s game-winner in a 1-0 win over McNeese State … Credited with the game-winning score in 3-0 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette … Scored a goal off a penalty kick in 3-2 win over Northwestern State … Also found the net versus Houston Baptist at the Southland Conference Tournament … Recorded assists in wins over Jackson State, Alcorn State, Mississippi Valley State and Incarnate Word.

2013: Played in all 23 matches, making 10 starts in her first season as a Lady Lion … Scored a goal in a 4-0 victory over Texas Southern … Also credited with an assist in 9-0 win over Alcorn State.

Prior to Southeastern: Spent freshman season at Memphis … Saw action in four matches.

High School: Three-sport athlete at St. Marguerite d’Youville Secondary School … In addition to starring on the soccer pitch, represented St. Marguerite on the basketball and track teams … Club experience included playing for the Hamilton FC and Brams United Girls Soccer Club.

Personal: Born Gisenia Celeste Utreras in Toronto … The daughter of Giovanni and Sarita Utreras … Has two brothers, Dylan and Mateo … A kinesiology major.
