2014 (Junior): Started all 62 games in which he appeared … hit .312 with a team-high 17 doubles, one home run and 41 RBIs … scored 31 runs … second on the club in RBIs … third on the squad in batting average, at bats (234), hits (73), total bases (93), sac bunts (5) and sac flies (4) … started 52 games at third base and 10 games at second base … hit .462 (6-for-13) with the bases loaded … hit .615 (16-for-26) with a runner at third base and less than two outs … produced 17 multi-hit performances, including a career-high four hits against McNeese State (5/10) … picked up three hits in games against Incarnate Word (4/12), South Alabama (4/15), No. 2-ranked Louisiana-Lafayette (4/30) and Nicholls State (5/4) … hit .500 (8-for-16) with 12 RBIs during a four-game stretch (2/22-28) … his nine multi-RBI games ranked third on the team … drove in four runs in games against George Washington (2/22), Louisiana-Monroe (2/28) and McNeese State (5/10) … compiled a 13-game hitting streak (3/15-4/4).  

2013 (Sophomore): Appeared in 52 games, starting 37 … primarily played second base, hitting .265 with a pair of doubles and 16 RBIs … recorded team's fifth-best batting average and sixth-best on-base percentage (.359) … compiled the second-most fielding assists (89) and helped turn 17 double plays … compiled eight multi-hit games, including a pair of thee-hit efforts against Texas Southern (3/2) and Jackson State (4/9) … drove in a pair of runs against TSU (3/2), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3/15)and New Orleans (4/16).

2012 (Freshman): Hit .212 with seven doubles and 16 RBIs … drew third-most walks (25) on the team … posted eight multi-hit games … scored multiple runs in six games, including career-high three runs against McNeese State (5/18) … drove in multiple runs three times, including career-high three against Alcorn State (3/28) … doubled twice against UT-Arlington (3/25) … played in all 60 games.

High School: Four-year letterman in both baseball and basketball at Moon Area HS … junior and senior captain of basketball team … senior captain of baseball team … hit .400 as a senior … named a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette West Xtra Baseball All-Star as a senior.

Personal: Born in Pittsburgh, Penn. … the son of Tom and Jill Hoffman … has an older sister, Chelsea, and a younger brother, Austin … father played baseball at Pensacola Junior College and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates (12th round – 1985) … majoring in General Studies.
