2013: Played in 13 games, making eight starts at tight end … Was blocking specialist in effective tight end duo with Jeremy Meyers.

2012: Started nine of 11 games at tight end … Finished the season with three receptions for 10 yards and a touchdown … Caught a three-yard touchdown pass that set up the game-winning two-point conversion in a 25-24 victory over McNeese State … Also credited with receptions versus Missouri and Stephen F. Austin.

2011: Redshirt season.
 
High School: A first-team All District 5-5A selection for Doug Dotson at Central High School … a three-year letterwinner for the Wildcats … selected to play in the U.S. Army Red Stick Bowl … named to the Class 5A Academic All-State team … helped the Wildcats to a 7-4 record and berth in the state playoffs … totaled 14 tackles, three sacks and an interception as a junior.
