2010: Named to the All-Southland Conference team as an honorable mention selection … Leader of the offensive line started all 11 games at center.

2009: Stepped in as starter at center … Anchor of the offensive line started all 11 games for the Lions.

2008: Saw action in nine games on the offensive line … Made starts at right guard versus Louisiana Tech, Texas State and Sam Houston State.

High School: Class 3A All-State and All-District 22-3A offensive lineman at Splendora High School … head coach was Chris Nelson … as a junior, led an offensive line that helped pave the way for the Wildcats to average 380 yards rushing per game … outstanding student was named to the Class 3A Academic All-State team as a senior.
