2010: Started nine of the 11 games he appeared in at defensive back … Seventh on the team with 42 tackles (32 solo) … Fifth on the team with four pass breakups … Had season-high six tackles at Central Arkansas … Also had five tackles in games with Tulane, Louisiana-Monroe and Nicholls … Credited with four tackles and two pass breakups versus McNeese State … In league victory over Texas State, made four stops and broke up a pass … Broke up a pass at Stephen F. Austin.

2009: Saw action in all 11 games, playing primarily on special teams and making one start in the secondary … Credited with nine tackles (seven solo) … Had four tackles in start at South Dakota … Recovered a fumble in 69-20 win over Union College … Made two stops at Ole Miss … Posted tackles in wins over Texas A&M-Commerce, Union College and Sam Houston State.

2008: Redshirt season.

High School: All-District performer for coach Mike Virgets at Grace King High School … Was also an outstanding performer on the school’s track team, earning a district title in the 400 meters … Starting point guard for the GKHS basketball team … Served as a team captain for the football, basketball and track teams … Named Homecoming King as a senior.
