High School: Starred as an athlete at Terry High, posting over 1,900 all-purpose yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior … A Jackson Clarion Ledger All-Metro pick … Two-time All-Region 3-5A selection … coached by Bill French … also excelled in track, winning a title in the South State 5A 100 meters and anchoring the THS state runner-up 4x100 relay team … named Offensive MVP as a senior … tabbed as an All-Region pick and named the Bulldogs’ top defensive back in 2008 …. Blitz 16 and Cellular South Jackson Touchdown Club Player of the Week during his career … Member of the National Honor Society.
