2023 / SOPHOMORE / PEARL RIVER CC – Battled an injury but still played in 57 games ... slashed .368 / .602 / .486 with 16 doubles, two triples and nine home runs ... drove in 62 and scored another 67 runs ... drew 37 times and hit by 11 pitches, striking out 34 times ... stole 23 bases in 25 attempts ... earned All-MACCC honors ... finished Wildcat career tied for fifth in career homers with 26.
 
2022 / FRESHMAN / PEARL RIVER CC – Was a massive force in the middle of the lineup on Pearl River's National Championship squad ... finished the year with a slash line of .385 / .701 / .506 with six doubles, one triple and 17 home runs ... drove in 62 and scored another 69 runs ... drew 35 walks and hit by 13 pitches, striking out 39 times ... stole 22 bases in 24 attempts ... produced 23 multi-hit games … earned NJCAA All-American, All-Region 23 and All-MACCC honors.
 
HIGH SCHOOL – Played for coach George Lott at North Pike Senior HS ... hit .454  with 15 doubles, seven home runs, 49 RBIs and 18 stolen ... scored 40 runs ... named Region 6-4A MVP ... 4A All-State selection.
 
PERSONAL – Born in McComb, Mississippi … son of Tina Pounds and Mitchell Perry … has an older sibling, Chance … majoring in general studies at Southeastern.
