Prior to Southeastern: Finished with 55 tackles, five tackles for loss, an interception and three pass breakups in two seasons at Georgia Military College.

High School: Recorded 107 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, seven sacks, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions as a senior at Monroe Area High School … Was also a standout on the MAHS basketball team.
