Reserve guard played in 25 games as a true freshman, earning a start at home against Northwestern State … averaged 1.6 points and 1.1 assists per game in 8.8 minutes of action … scored season-high seven points in collegiate debut against Millsaps College, going 2-for-2 from behind the 3-point line … added six points in Southland Conference games at Nicholls State and Central Arkansas … played a season-high 30 minutes against UCA and collected two steals … scored four points and dished out eight assists in non-conference victory over Dillard … scored points in 89-87 Southland Conference victory at Lamar.

HIGH SCHOOL
Averaged 24 points, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals and was voted the District 6-1A MVP as a senior at Baton Rouge’s Southern Lab School … a three-time All-District selection … a two-time Class 1A All-State selection … named to the Baton Rouge Advocate All-Metro Team … helped Lab to a pair of district titles.

Born September 11, 1992 in Beaumont, Texas … the son of Leonard and Sharon Harrel … one of three children … recruited by Southeastern, Middle Tennessee, Lamar and Stephen F. Austin … chose Southeastern because of the “winning environment” … grew up idolizing Tim Hardaway, Pete Maravich and Kobe Bryant … favorite food is pasta and lists blue as his favorite color … ultimate vacation spot is Barcelona, Spain … a Computer Science major.
