HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University women's soccer team announced its 2026 soccer schedule Monday morning.

Southeastern, which closed out the previous 2025 season 6-8-4 overall and 5-3-2 in Southland Conference action, will kick start its fall schedule on the road with two exhibition matches versus Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (Aug. 5) and Power 4 opponent Mississippi State (Aug. 8).

SLU will officially open its 18-match slate for the 2026 season at home in Strawberry Stadium against Louisiana-Lafayette (Aug. 13) before returning on the road to face Louisiana Tech (Aug. 16) at Robert Mack Caruthers Field. Southeastern will come back to Hammond, America for a two-match home stretch against Troy (Aug. 20) and Spring Hill (Aug. 23) before traveling to Hattiesburg, Miss., to face Southern Miss (Aug. 27).

The Lions will continue on the road to open the month of September, facing Southern (Sept. 3 ) and South Alabama (Sept. 6) before its final non-conference match at home against West Florida (Sept. 11). SLU will begin SLC play against conference rival McNeese at home Thursday, Sept. 17 then take on East Texas A&M (Sept. 24) in Commerce, Texas. The UIW Cardinals will visit Strawberry Stadium Sept. 27 before the green and gold face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Oct. 1) on the road.

Southeastern will move forward in league action, on the road, against Houston Christian (Oct. 8) before returning home for a quick turnaround versus UTRGV (Oct. 11). The Lions will face Stephen F. Austin (Oct. 15) in Nacogdoches, Texas prior to welcoming Northwestern State (Oct. 22) and Lamar (Oct. 25) to Hammond for their last two home matches of the season. The green and gold will close out conference play on the road against conference foe Nicholls (Nov. 5).

The 2026 Southland Conference Soccer Championship Tournament will be held Nov. 10-15 in Commerce, Texas.
