HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team's Friday matchup with Southland Conference foe Nicholls has been postponed in light of excessive rain.
 
Southeastern (31-19, 19-9 SLC) and the Colonels (25-24, 15-13 SLC) will attempt to continue the series with single games Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. Both games are slated for coverage on ESPN+.
 
Saturday fans can celebrate Mother's Day early as we honor the moms who cheer the loudest and offer support every step of the way.
 
The game is also Senior Day. Fans are encouraged to show up early as the Lions will honor this year's senior class before the first pitch.
 
In addition, Saturday's game will feature Baseball Bingo at the Ballpark. Fans can grab a bingo card from the marketing and promotions table in the concourse and play along. The first 25 valid bingos win a prize from Southeastern Athletics. It promises to be a special day filled with baseball, family, and memories worth cheering for as the Lions wrap up the regular season against the Colonels.
